Revive Church, Missoula, Montana, USA

News from Cameron Oliver, “Although Montana has seen relatively less numbers of Covid infections as compared to other places Revive Church in Missoula has continued to serve locally and our RB family abroad. City Foods, a food bank run by Revive Church has continued operating throughout the past few months; serving families in need.

Josh Yakos, the leader of Revive has also played a significant role in spearheading the launch of ‘Western Montana Corona Help’ which acts as a point of contact between those in need and Churches in the area working together. As a church we have also been grateful to God for the fruit seen by reaching many through an increased presence online specifically through live streams. This is an avenue we plan to continue to take advantage of into the future.”

Bethel Church in Lavender Hill Community, Cape Town, South africa

News from Ivan Alamano, “I want to thank the Regions Beyond family for the the donation we received. Lavender Hill is a very poor community where crime and violence, gangsterism and abuse is a daily occurrence. Venecia and I have been working in this community for the last 45 years. We have seen many lives change through the gospel of grace. Gangsters change, drug addicts change, families are united. The covid 19 pandemic has affected this community as it had the rest of the world. But thanks to a group of people in one of the flats who felt the need to do something. They formed a committee among themselves and started with a feeding scheme, depending completely on donations. Someone blessed them with a large gas stove. Donations started pouring in. Regions Beyond was one of them. They are feeding hundreds of people including children every day. One of the committee members is a lady and her husband from our church. This lady, Isobel, was wonderfully delivered from drug addiction. She is the mother of 5 children. Although very poor she is willing to help others. This group is committed and totally dependent on donations. Your donation has been a great encouragement. Thank you, Ivan and Venecia Alamano.”

Harvest of grace, Mumbai, India

Good News from Nigel Pereira, Mumbai, India. 30 families in Harvest of Grace being provided rations for a month. We are hoping to provide for another two months once some of the RB funds come in. We were also able to provide for a few non-church families in need.  Our ASHA PROJECT (Asha means hope), is teaming up with another local NGO to give provisions to HIV infected and affected people during this time. Over 50 families were helped. Ramesh & Jixcy from the church stored the provisions in their shop and helped our ASHA staff, Anthony & Meena. In Uttar Pradesh, funds sent by RB has already been sent to various places to provide rations for a month for over 700 people. This includes all our churches and a few others.
