Portland Church Plant, Maine, USA
If you don’t already know, a small group of us at Rivers Edge in Spokane, WA answered the call to plant a church in the New England – specifically the Portland, Maine area. The Albion family and our family (Losey family) left for Maine a couple weeks ago (while the others are arriving here in August). Thus far, we have just been unwinding as it was a 3k mile drive, with 4 adults, 3 kids, 3 dogs, and a cat. As you can imagine, rest was needed.
We are starting a small group gathering where we can start inviting people into as we engage with the city. At this moment, we are trying to meet people and engage with those around us. Of course, Covid is not making this easy to do as Maine is pretty strict in regard to Covid interactions. Please be praying for us as we start navigating this journey of church planting in the midst of a global pandemic.
